Key Rules
Rent Payments
Rent must be paid weekly in advance. Arrears are not permitted under any circumstances. Failure to maintain advance payments may result in termination of your agreement.
Vacating the Premises
On your scheduled day of departure, you must vacate your room by 10am sharp. Late departures will incur additional charges.
Maintenance Responsibilities
Residents must report any damages or maintenance issues immediately. You are responsible for keeping your room clean and in the condition it was provided. Intentional damage will be billed to the resident.

Jesmond Lodge is a residential environment. Parties or large gatherings are strictly prohibited to ensure quiet enjoyment for all residents.

Smoking is completely banned inside all rooms and internal common areas. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor zones.

The consumption of alcohol is restricted to private rooms. Alcohol is not permitted in shared kitchens, lounges, or hallways.

The use, possession, or distribution of illegal drugs on the premises will result in immediate eviction and involvement of local authorities.
General Etiquette
Waste Management
All rubbish must be disposed of in the correct external bins provided. Do not leave waste bags in hallways or common areas. Ensure recyclable items are placed in the designated yellow-lid bins.
Kitchen Etiquette
Shared kitchens must be cleaned immediately after use. Wash and dry your dishes, wipe down benches, and do not leave personal items or unwashed utensils in the sinks. Respect the designated storage areas for other residents.
